Diary of a fed up Everyman

I'm a complicated man. I have multiple layers to my personality. I'm not schizophrenic or anything but I can be a totally different person from day to day. I was raised in a small farm town (2,000 people) but I don't really fit that stereotype. In fact, most of the people from small towns don't fit that stereotype. No, I can't stand crowds but at the same time I'm open-minded, semi-cultured and pretty non-conservative. I'm of average intelligence and I like to say I know a little about a lot of things and a lot about a few things. Jack of all trades...master of baiting...err, I mean master of none.

    Houston Police change chase policy...

The Houston Police Department has changed their policy concerning car chases.

Great. Now if you feel like it, you can run from the cops and get away with the crime? Are they worried about getting people hurt? How about this...install huge grappling hook launchers on the front of police cars so that when a suspect won't stop they can simply shoot a big claw in to the trunk or back window of the fleeing vehicle and pull them to a stop. Or how about they take those high performance cruisers, out run them, get in front of them and slam on the brakes. Or pull beside them and ram them off of the road. Why do police have to be so gentle these days? If a person is running from a cop, the cop should be able to do whatever it takes to apprehend that individual. After all, if you're breaking a law and/or running from the cops, you should expect to receive a serious beat down in exchange for your troubles. Not expect to be handled with kid gloves.
